Our Team

The MBK Difference

We were the first NFL agency to negotiate 53 man roster base salary for a practice squad player in 2002.
We have a proven track record of pre-draft success with unheralded, off-the-radar players who get drafted and make 53 man rosters by leveraging our resources, NFL contacts and dynamic marketing methodology.
At various points in time, we held the honor of negotiating contracts for the highest paid running back and defensive player in league history.

Eugene T. Lee

President

When Academy Award nominee Morgan Spurlock was hired to direct an ESPN Films documentary (“The Dotted Line”) about the inside world of sports agents, he chose Eugene Lee as the NFL agent to be featured. Why? Mr. Lee is quickly making a name for himself as a premier NFL sports agent, and in the words of Spurlock, many expect him to be the next “powerhouse” agent.

Nothing has ever been handed to Mr. Lee, who picked up his first clients while playing pickup basketball in law school at Notre Dame, where Mr. Lee also earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Accountancy. After practicing law in New York City for four years where he specialized in the practice areas of intellectual property, licensing, branding, outsourcing and information technology, Mr. Lee founded his first NFL player representation agency – ETL Associates, Inc. From meeting his first clients on the hardwood, Mr. Lee has represented over forty NFL players over the past decade. With over seventeen years of experience as an NFLPA certified contract advisor, Mr. Lee has gained a vast understanding and in-depth knowledge of the legal and business aspects of NFL player representation including the drafting and negotiation of player contracts, injury settlements and endorsement and sponsorship agreements. Mr. Lee is a member in good standing of the Bars of the State of New York, Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

As a frequent guest on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg, Mr. Lee has become widely recognized and respected as an industry expert on NFL player contracts, the salary cap, the collective bargaining agreement and athlete branding. Mr. Lee has spoken at law schools nationwide, including Harvard and Notre Dame, and has published numerous op-eds in national and international publications.
